This Payout and Earnings Disclaimer applies to 260Local Gigz and any resident earning opportunity connected to 260Local.
1. No Guaranteed Income
260Local does not guarantee that you will earn money.
Gigz earnings depend on task availability, your location, your approval status, campaign budgets, business participation, task instructions, proof of completion, verification results, program rules, and payment provider requirements.
Some residents may earn money. Others may earn little or nothing.
2. Task Amounts May Change
Task rates may change at any time. A task may pay one amount today and a different amount later.
260Local may test different payout rates, task types, campaign sizes, or approval rules.
3. Approval Is Required
Completing a task does not automatically mean the task will be approved.
260Local may review submitted proof before approving a payout.
A task may be rejected if it is incomplete, inaccurate, late, unverifiable, fraudulent, or against instructions.
4. Payout Timing May Vary
Approved payouts may not be instant.
Payment timing may depend on internal review, minimum payout thresholds, payment provider processing times, bank processing times, fraud checks, identity or tax verification, account issues, and technical delays.
260Local is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment apps, card networks, or third-party processors.
5. Fraud May Cancel Earnings
260Local may deny, reverse, pause, or cancel earnings if we believe activity was fraudulent, fake, abusive, duplicated, automated, misleading, or against program rules.
This includes fake accounts, fake screenshots, duplicate resident accounts, bot activity, paid engagement outside approved tasks, misleading proof, false location claims, review manipulation, and platform rule violations.
6. Taxes Are Your Responsibility
You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes connected to Gigz earnings.
260Local may request tax information or issue tax forms when required.
260Local does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice.
7. Independent Participant Notice
Gigz residents are not employees of 260Local.
Gigz participation does not include employee benefits, hourly wages, overtime, unemployment insurance, workers' compensation, paid time off, or guaranteed work.
8. Examples Are Not Promises
Any example showing possible earnings is only an example.
It is not a promise, guarantee, or estimate of what you will earn. Your actual results may be different.
9. Program May Change
260Local may change, pause, limit, or end Gigz tasks, rates, payout rules, or resident eligibility at any time.
